The Ultimate Budget Recovery Setup

Who says you need to splurge to make muscle soreness go away?

While we’d all love to set up a $10K sauna at home, few have the financial flexibility to turn that dream into a reality. However, that doesn’t mean you should ignore your recovery needs.

In fact, you can make it a focus of your health and wellness routine without breaking the bank by heeding the advice of GGR Everything Lead Reviewer Lindsay Scheele. In her latest YouTube video, our equipment expert shows you how to piece together a budget-friendly recovery setup that will help you feel relaxed and rejuvenated for your next workout.

A Message From Hydrow

The 20-Minute Full-Body Workout You've Been Missing

Your day is packed between meetings, shuttling kids, trying to prep clean meals, while hopefully squeezing in quality time with friends and family.

Somewhere in there, you've got 20 minutes.

Hydrow gives you a full-body workout that combines cardio, strength, and mindfulness, all in one sleek machine.

But you're not just on a rower, by yourself, slogging through 500-meter intervals.

Hydrow brings immersive, group workouts into your own home led by Olympians and professional athletes. So you're not in your basement alone - you're rowing on a Scandinavian fjord or knocking out a 10-minute core circuit in County Wicklow, Ireland.

No wonder 90% of users are still hooked a year later.

Home Gym Con 2025: Equipment We’re Most Excited About

For those who haven’t heard of Home Gym Con, it’s one of the premier conferences for the home gym community. Held annually in Louisville, KY, the 2025 version was filled with 121 vendors, including some of the most well-known names in fitness equipment and some up-and-coming brands we’re very excited about.

This year, the GGR video team made the trip to Kentucky, including our founder Cooper “Coop” Mitchell, Lindsay from GGR Everything, and our film crew. Coop and Lindsay were able to try out some amazing new equipment in person, getting a firsthand look at some of the latest creations in home gym tech.

In this Home Gym Con 2025 recap, staff writer Matt Dustin highlights some of the pieces we’re most excited about. From a badass leg press and hack squat combo machine built by one of the most innovative brands in the industry to a stacked lineup of weight benches from PRx, prepare to be blown away by what’s coming to the market.

BONUS: We also have full video recaps available on all our YouTube channels.

Trainer’s Corner

Kettlebell Strength Workout

A kettlebell workout is often touted as a cardiovascular endeavor, but those of us in the “heavy weight is always better” world often forget the physiques that have been forged with repetition rather than maximal load.

A full-throttle kettlebell strength workout, with all of its moving pieces and high-rep ranges, is going to ignite the posterior chain like few other programs will.

So, as much as we love dumbbells and barbells, it’s time to put those down and pick up that heavy hunk of iron by its handle for a full-body workout designed to build muscle, strength, and endurance.

GGR Deal Zone

Welcome to the Deal Zone — where the gains are BIG and the prices are LOW. Each week, the GGR squad tracks down the best sales and promos on everything from strength and cardio equipment to supplements and recovery tools so you can stay on top of your game without breaking the bank.

Let us do the hunting so you can focus on the sweating.

  • Force USA is running a limited-time sale on their all-in-one trainers, offering up to $500 off or a free gift with your purchase.

  • If you’re on a tight budget, the G1 is the most affordable option. It normally costs $1,200, but is on sale for $999.

  • Looking for the ultimate home gym setup? Take a look at the G20, which combines 11 strength training stations into a compact design.

  • G20 final price: $5,999 $5,499

Titan Fitness Summer Blowout Sale

  • Get up to 60% off strength machines, racks, and more with Titan’s Summer Blowout Sale.

  • We’re big fans of the T-3 Series Power Rack, which comes in multiple sizes. You can save 24% off the list price, but don’t wait around since inventory is low on this highly rated rack.

  • T-3 final price: $799 $609.97

Save BIG on Echelon Equipment

  • Take your cardio game to the next level for a fraction of the price by snagging a stair climber, rower, bike, treadmill, or elliptical from Echelon.

  • The promo also includes recovery products such as the Echelon Sauna Blanket ($100 off) and the Echelon Smart Cold Plunge ($1,800 off).

  • Smart Cold Plunge final price: $4,300 $2,500

Assault Fitness Anniversary Sale

  • Celebrate the company’s 12-year anniversary by shopping the sales on cardio equipment.

  • Some other options we recommend include the AssaultBike Pro X and the AssaultRower Elite.

  • AssaultBike Pro X final price: $899 $799

  • AssaultRower Elite final price: $1,499 $1,299
