PRx Halo Arms Review
Jammer arms and lever arms are popular power rack attachments for home gyms, as they can mimic multiple commercial gym machines in a small space. However, most traditional jammer arms have a limited range of motion, only able to rotate up and down along a vertical claim.
Some manufacturers are working on allowing free motion in their jammer arms, as well as locking positions vertically and horizontally, allowing for a massive amount of versatility. Most solutions have been through the use of jammer arm adapters by companies like Vendetta and GymPin, but itâll cost a bit of extra money and have a clunky DIY sort of feel.
PRx Performance has attempted a combination of all solutions in their Halo Arms. With 17 vertical locking positions and nine horizontal locking positions, the jammer arms also unlock to provide a free range of motion, allowing for plenty of fixed positions. But does the versatility match the price? Letâs find out in this PRx Halo Arms review.

Understand Your Unique Metabolism With Lumen
If youâve been dieting, lifting weights, and doing cardio without seeing the results you want, you might be missing out on one key piece of the puzzle: your metabolism. And with Lumen, you can get a better understanding of your metabolism right at your fingertips.
Lumen is the world's first portable device that measures your metabolism with a single breath. By tracking the COâ concentration in your breath, Lumen determines whether you are burning fat or carbs as fuel and provides tailored guidance to improve your nutrition, workouts, sleep, and stress management.
Breathing into the Lumen before a workout will tell you whether you are burning fat or carbs as fuel. This helps you determine if you need to carb up before a training session in order to get the most out of your time at the gym.
Thereâs more to it than that, though. Lumen also provides you with a personalized nutrition plan for the entire day based on your measurements. If your body needs a low-carb day, Lumen guides you in the right direction, complete with a macro breakdown. This leads to improved metabolic flexibility, which is your body's efficiency in shifting between using fats and carbs.
The result of all this data? More sustainable muscle growth and fat loss tailored to your individual needs and goals.
If you want to unlock the potential of your metabolism and start crushing your fitness goals, read more about Lumen here. And right now, BarBend readers will get an exclusive 15% discount on their purchase.

Cable Fly Alternatives
One of certified personal trainer and staff writer Stephen Sheehanâs biggest pet peeves about working out at commercial gyms is wasting time waiting for equipment to become available. Thatâs especially the case on #ChestDay, as the queue for the cable machine can seem longer than the line of cars on a busy day at Chick-fil-A.
While we all love the versatility and functionality of a pulley system, sometimes itâs better to pivot your attention elsewhere. Although that may mean sacrificing cable crossovers, you can still sculpt a strong, well-defined chest via cable fly alternatives.
Stephen is here to show you 10 ways you can target your pectoral muscles that donât involve the cable fly. He also put together a pair of goal-specific workouts that include the best chest exercises so you can start building muscle one rep at a time.
